Humble Beginnings

I bought my first home in my twenties and like most people didn't have a clue how it all worked.  I offered what they were asking, they accepted and I moved in.

Even when I sold the property I had no idea... I took a real estate agent's advice on value and sold it at that price - quite quickly I might add - which meant it was way too cheap.  An early lesson learned!

Investment Bug 

I got the investment bug and my family went thirds in a property investment business.  We learned as we went, talked to many people and made some mistakes along the way which were valuable learning experiences.

Business Entrepreneur

I have owned small businesses in the past and love the challenge.  I also spent 8 years working for New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE).  NZTE is all about helping businesses and industries work smarter.  I attained a Post Graduate Diploma in Business to tack on to my Masters Degree in Psychology which has been extremely helpful.

Investor turned Real Estate Agent?

I loved property so much that I wanted it as my career and it is great to help others acheive their dreams.

I have built up a wealth of skills and experience that I feel is important to pass on to others.  These include sales skills, technology , project management, process management, finance, marketing and negotation expertise.  The most important aspect is customer service.  Real estate is less about houses and more about people.  I enjoy helping people increase their knowledge about the market and make smart decisions for themselves and their family.
